Niger

Malnutrition is a major public health problem in Niger. Whether severe or acute, approximately one in every 7 children is suffering from it.

Morocco

Morocco, due to its geographical location, is a transit country for a large number of migrants and refugees. Following the tightening of border controls in the European Union in recent years, the country has become a country of destination.

Kenya

We work in two areas of Kenya, Isiolo County and Lamu County. Isiolo County, north of Kenya’s capital Nairobi, is in the grip of a vicious drought after rains failed in late 2016 and spring 2017.

EU Aid Volunteering

Doctors of the World works in humanitarian aid providing emergency response and long term healthcare projects. We are led by volunteers. The MdM International network has joined the EU Aid Volunteers Initiative.

Palestine

Palestine has been under protracted occupation for over 50 years. The situation in the country is marked by a systematic denial of human rights and continuing conflict, often escalating in outbreaks of violence, blockages, and restrictions.

Syria

Over 180,000 people have had to flee their homes in northeast Syria following a military intervention launched by Turkey.

Yemen

Doctors of the World has been active in Yemen since 2007, but we have increased our capacity in response to the conflict. We currently support 13 medical facilities. We supply medical equipment, emergency assistance and essentials medicine to those in need.
