Karl Shuker is a business leader operating at the intersection of fundraising, communications, and international development. Currently leading on philanthropy and partnerships at Save the Children and the VP of BASMA Organisation, he previously worked with UNICEF and WHO, including in the context of the Syria Crisis, generating income in excess of $28 million. Until 2012, he served on the board of directors of the publisher of Harvard Business Review Arabia and MIT Technology Review Arabia after launching and leading two publications, including the high-end monthly, Happynings. Karl has an MSc in media and development from the London School of Economics.
